Two brothers get involved with a gangster called Phil(!) who operates an illegal race track.. one competes in it while romancing the bad guy's girl, the other is a born loser who owes the criminal a lot of money. As you can appreciate, Phil(!) don't like either of them too much. Plus, there's police officers sniffing around, wanting the racing brother to grass on the baddie so they can shut down a substantial car racket...
