The Amazing Race Asia: The second group of Amazing Race contestants set out on a race around the world for one hundred thousand dollars. The ten teams left the Asian Civilisations Museum near the Singapore river where they faced gruelling challenges such as a high physical task in a Detour. Teams then made their way to Manila in the Philippines where teams were required to use GPS systems to guide their Taxi drivers to the next location. Later, at the Plaza Miranda, teams had to eat eight baluts from an egg-seller's store before receiving their next clue from the egg seller. Teams then made their way to the Pit Stop located at Fort Santiago. Two teams raced each other to reach the mat first as another team was too late to catch up and stepped onto the mat last. They were relieved to know that had not been eliminated but were instead given a penalty.
